Hi there.

I found this wiki only some days ago. Seems to be one of the best wikis for PHP available...

I now have one of those running in the intranet of the company were I work and plan to use another public available installation for my spare time interests / projects.

When I get ../WackoDocumentation_3Fshow_comments_3D1/a_nbsp.css;little bit more used to Wacko Wiki I will be pleased to help with your documentation project.

BTW I think it would be nice if one could decide which language would be used for navigation purposes ect. for newly created sites for users which are not registered / don't have their individual language setting. This way it would be easier for new international users to learn what Wacko Wiki is.

Salute & welcome.

We`ll think about your proposition — I am moving it into /Wacko Ideas

-- KusoMendokusee (2003-09-07 19:47:11)

Wacko Wiki has great features – I come from Wakk../WackoDocumentation_3Fshow_comments_3D1/a_nbsp.css;Wiki – but it takes 10 seconds to display ../WackoDocumentation_3Fshow_comments_3D1/a_nbsp.css;page vs. 2 seconds Wakk../WackoDocumentation_3Fshow_comments_3D1/a_nbsp.css;Wiki (I have Typographica turned off on config).

Are there plans to make it as fast as wakkawiki – when is V4 coming out?

-- dial-62-64-225-19.access.uk.tiscali.com (2003-10-02 14:33:03)

Did you try CVS version?

It's faster in 2–10 times than R3.5.

-- RomanIvanov (2003-10-02 17:11:59)

OK, downloading to try. By the way – is there ../WackoDocumentation_3Fshow_comments_3D1/a_nbsp.css;script to import ../WackoDocumentation_3Fshow_comments_3D1/a_nbsp.css;wakka database to a wacko one? Changing formatting etc will take ages.

The feature set for Wacko is phenomenal!!! I love TOC, anchors, working Inter Wiki finally and the thousand other tweaks...!

-- pth4.ioo.ucl.ac.uk (2003-10-02 22:49:06)

OK, much faster! (still ../WackoDocumentation_3Fshow_comments_3D1/a_nbsp.css;bit slower than Wakka, but now useable). I get the following showing up at the top of all my pages though:

dblink); return $dblink; } ?>); ?>

-- dial-62-64-226-205.access.uk.tiscali.com (2003-10-05 19:07:10)
Hmmm.

Strange.

Thank you, I'll see.
-- RomanIvanov (2003-10-06 11:38:37)

Is there any way I can export my database from Wakk../WackoDocumentation_3Fshow_comments_3D1/a_nbsp.css;Wiki to Wacko Wiki and have ../WackoDocumentation_3Fshow_comments_3D1/a_nbsp.css;script automatically change formatting for me?

-- dial-62-64-141-186.access.uk.tiscali.com (2003-10-23 18:05:25)

Sorry, there's not such script now.

Most formatting CHANGES (not additions) are in Headers.

Others are ADDITIONS.

-- RomanIvanov (2003-10-23 20:16:06)

Dos Wacko have categories? What are clusters? I get lost in russian...

-- 80.58.1.235.proxycache.rima-tde.net (2004-05-13 15:14:00)

Clusters are subpages. Not sure if it has categories.

-- TomSpilman (2004-06-15 09:33:57)

Standart wiki categories supported by “..." link near header =)

-- RomanIvanov (2004-06-19 00:23:22)

Hi to the Wacko developers.

This is one of the best Wiki's I have ever seen!!! Thanks for developing it.

Is there ../WackoDocumentation_3Fshow_comments_3D1/a_nbsp.css;way to revert ../WackoDocumentation_3Fshow_comments_3D1/a_nbsp.css;change done to the database?
I have mistakenly overwritten the   Page Index.
Please let me know – you can also mail me at mellanox.co.il use name eitan

Many Thanks

-- 194.90.237.34 (2005-07-03 12:48:46)

I have installed the wiki, changed the style to suit my site, but I can't for the life of me, work out how to add pages, or add requests to the wanted list! I have search through pages of documentation... can someone please enlighten me!

-- KirstyJay? (2006-08-31 18:42:10)

type ../WackoDocumentation_3Fshow_comments_3D1/a_nbsp.css;word in double brackets ((NewPage)) or just append it to the URL of your Browser
if you want create subpages look here /Wacko Documentation / Wacko Clusters

also try to click the question mark behind your name, you can also write wiki ak../WackoDocumentation_3Fshow_comments_3D1/a_nbsp.css;camel case words

-- SkipPer (2006-08-31 19:05:18)

Thanks.

-- KirstyJay? (2006-09-01 12:17:31)

I suddenly have ../WackoDocumentation_3Fshow_comments_3D1/a_nbsp.css;problem with the wiki and I can't find any reference to a support forum on this site!!!

The problem is as follows : My wiki isn't displaying and all I receive on the home page is the following error :

Catchable fatal error: Object of class Wacko could not be converted to string in /home2/shb3_150/canarianmum.com/public_html/wiki/wakka.php on line 254

Can someone advise me what it means or tell me where I can go to get help.

Thanks.

-- KirstyJay? (2007-03-06 20:30:15)

Line 254 call some function related to cache, may be there is something wrong

I would play around there, delete cache files on the server, de- /activate cache function in wakka.config.php and look what's happening

Did you change something, configuration wacko or server, ... ?

-- SkipPer (2007-03-06 21:15:43)

!  , !

-- (2007-03-06 23:52:46)

I installed ../WackoDocumentation_3Fshow_comments_3D1/a_nbsp.css;Simple Machines forum on the same database the other day, but that shouldn't have changed anything, as it installs seperate tables and I already have one other Simple Machines forum on the same database already.

Where are the cache files? there doesn't seem to be any in the _cache folder...

These are my cache settings in the config file :

“cache” => “0”,

“cache_dir” => "_cache/",
“cache_ttl” => “600”
